To schedule a series of messages informing participants about what to expect when they attend a large event ie festival or show.
You could use this feature to send a message at the start of the term and then schedule another message at the end of the term with a survey link to evaluate the activity
Here are the steps to take
1. Go to Main Menu then select Activities and Current
2. Enter the Event Name in Search next Edit the activity
3. Go to the Communicate tab
4. On the left you can create and manage message templates.
5. On the right is a list of assigned attendees.
6. For each message template created, a column is added to the right panel order by the name of the message template.
7. Each attendee/message template has either a send message button or the date the message is sent (or scheduled to be sent).
8. Create a message template by selecting the + Add Template
9. Once you've added your message, remember to refresh the browser for the new messages to appear in the Attendee pane
10. To schedule the time for the message to be sent. Select on the Send against each participant's name
11. A scheduled date will be added on when the message will be sent
