Follow the Create Venue Hire from the Venue Hire Menu tutorial to step 4.
Click Check Conflicts. If a conflict does exist with the room hire, the system will inform you which dates need to be changed.
Change these dates, then select Add Venue Hire.
The Date Conflict Resolver page will be displayed to help you manually resolve conflicts
Venue spaces will be displayed in columns.
Rows display the dates that the venue session is booked.
Sessions in conflict are highlighted in red. Sessions belonging to other venue hires are displayed in blue.
To resolve the conflict, click Move to reschedule the session or X to delete the hire agreement.
If you select Move, you’ll have two methods to resolve the conflict. Either –
Select the Location dropdown button to change the session to a different room.
Change session Time or Date to remove clashes with existing room booking.
The session will change colour to yellow. Click < Back to view Venue Hire.
In the Details tab, click Edit on the Details panel, change Status Code to Approved, press Save.
In the Sessions tab, all sessions will be displayed as Pending, click Select/Deselect All, ticks will appear in all session tiles.
Scroll to the bottom of the page, click Update status.
The Update Status window will be displayed. Change the session’s status from Pending to Approved.
Click Save.
