You’re able to receive volunteer applications on Social Planet’s personalised landing page.


How to Enable Volunteer Applications 

  1. From the Frontdesk, head to the Account header, click Settings

  2. Click Edit on the Volunteer Settings panel. This opens the Edit Volunteer Settings page. Here, you can – 

    • Choose to enable or disable showing the volunteer section on the home page

    • Add Info of volunteer section on home page

    • Add Info at the beginning of volunteer application form

  1. Click Save


How to Create Work Roles Volunteers can Apply For 

  1. From the Frontdesk, head to the Account header, click Tags

  2. From the Tag Lists, click Staff Work Roles.

  3. Click +Add on the Custom Tags panel.

  4. Add name and click Save.


How to View and Approve Volunteer Applications 

  1. From the Frontdesk, head to the Volunteers header, then Applications

  2. The Volunteer Applications List will include all requests, applications will be tagged as “New”

  3. Click View to review volunteers –

    • Personal Info

    • Areas of Interest

    • Question Responses

    • Uploaded Resume

  4. Click Actions, then Promote to Volunteer.
