Social Planet saves you time by giving you a clone option. Perfect if the class or activity commences again from one term to the next. No longer do you need to create the activity again, when you clone the activity, the Activity Description, Image and Ticket Price Information gets copied to a future time as a new class/activity.
- Go to Main Menu, select Activities, then click on Current
- Enter the Activity Name in the Search Bar, when the Activity Tile is displayed, click on the Actions button, select Clone
- The Clone Activity Promotion page will be displayed, review key information, keep ticked copy tickets, copy team members, and copy notes
- Add Sessions, select the session dates, when calendar dates are selected, the date will be displayed as Orange, check the Session Time and Duration, Review the session dates to ensure they are correct then select Add Activity button.
- The Activity Summary will be displayed, choose the Settings Tab, go to the Sessions Pane (you will see the term name and sessions (Term 2 - 14 April to June 26 2020 (2 sessions) select Edit button.
- The Update Ticket Package window will be displayed change the Name (ie. Term 3 - 13 July to 18 September 2020) add the number of session, keep ticked Is Enabled and Package is visible to the public.
- Review the Ticket Price, select the Edit button to update the price or Add Ticket to include another ticket
- Go to the Booking Options pane and select Edit, then add the Booking Method ie Expression of Booking and Purchase Options ie Person must pay for all sessions, select Save
- Go to the Info pane and select the Edit button and change the Internal Name, delete Copy of
- Go to the Publishing pane and select the Edit button. Change the Publish Status from Draft to Published, enter today’s date for the start date, then in the end date, add the end of the Term (ie. 18 September)
- Remember to archive the activity that you just cloned, go to Main Menu select Activities, select Current, select the Edit Button go to the Publishing pane and select Archive status
For ACFE Classes that have a Subject Unit Linked. YOU MUST
12. Go to Main Menu, select Education, then select Parent Subject, type in the Search Field the Subject Name linked to the previous class
13. The Subject Unit tile will be displayed, select Edit button go to the Subject Units pane (top right of the page) select Add
14. The Add Subject Unit window will be displayed:
- change the Subject Unit code ie 20ALNEAL1 with the term number T3 so it shows 20ALNEAL1T3
- enter the Nominal Hours, Start and End Dates,keep the Subject Field the same,
- Keep selected Yes if its vocational training, No if its not part of the VET in Schools Program,
- Review Delivery Location and Delivery Method
- Tick Yes if its to be Included in AVETMISS reporting
15. Select Add
16. Go to Main Menu, go to Activities, select Current, enter the Class Name in Search field
17. Select the Edit button above the Activity Tile, go the Details tab, scroll down to the Subject Link pane and select Edit and Update Subject Link window will be displayed, scroll down to the bottom and select Subject Unit. Press Add
