Registering a Vehicle 

To transport participants, you need to have vehicles registered in Social Planet, so you can assign participants to these vehicles as passengers. 


  1. From the Frontdesk, head to the Account header, click Vehicles

  2. Select the Add Vehicle button to open the Add Vehicle window, complete the relevant information.



Creating an Activity with Transport 

  1. Follow the instructions of How to Create a Social Planet Activity. 

  2. At Step 4. Booking Options, select “Transport can be arranged for a flat fee” in the Transport Arrangements field.



Creating a Transport Ticket 

If you're offering transport as an extra service, you will need to create a transport-specific ticket. 


  1. Follow the instructions of How to Add Session Packages and Ticket Prices

    • Create a Ticket Name, with transport in the title. In the Ticket Description Field, add details about the type of transport being offered. [Example image here tomorrow.]

    • Select Pricing includes the cost of client transport

    • Select this ticket as the default selection, particularly if all the participants attending will be using the transport service.



Creating a Travel Plan 

If you’re providing transport for an activity, YOU MUST create a travel plan, in which you assign a driver and vehicle to an activity.


  1. On the Activity Summary page, go to the Travel tab.

  2. Select the Session Date, then + Add new travel plan to go to the Add Travel Plan page

  3. On this page, complete –

    • Name

    • Description 

    • Service Provision – Whether transportation is to or from the provider site. 

    • Vehicle 

    • Driver and Driver Companion 


Note –

If you’re offering door to door transport from the participant’s home to activity location, you’ll need to create two travel plans, one travelling to the activity location and one travelling from the activity location.
